BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
- CALL TO ORDER – Chairman John Kosiara called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm. Chairman John Kosiara led the pledge of allegiance.
ROLL CALL Present: John Kosiara-Elba Township, Larry Van Horn-Oregon Township, Ray Hayes Deerfield Township, David VanWagnen-City of Lapeer, Harry Green-City of Lapeer, Dawn Walker-Lapeer Township. Excused: Elaine Gates- City of Lapeer Absent: Dan Engelman-Mayfield Township
Also Present: Kelly Bales-Executive Director, Brad Fry-Maintenance Director and Traci Pewinski Finance & Operations Manager
III. CHANGES/ADDITIONS TO AGENDA – Social media and website were added to discussion items.
PUBLIC COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS – no public comments
MICHIGAN PLANNERS – Health Care Renewal discussed and approved.
CORRESPONDENCE – Received an email from Elaine Gates stating she is resigning from the board of directors.
MAINTENANCE ISSUES – were discussed an approved.
ACTION ITEMS
Approval of the Agenda – motion approved
Meeting Minutes – October 2015 – Motion Approved as amended.
Bill List – October 2015 – Motion to approve the bills as presented.
Contracts – Bus replacement – waiting on new contract.
V/L Monroe potential of purchasing – discussion regarding purchase and sellers time frame.
Rural Task Force-Bus purchase – FY 16 & FY 17.
Employee Handbook Review – still being reviewed.
Non-emergency Medical Transportation – working on details
2016 Holiday schedule motion approved.
VII. DISCUSSION ITEMS
Income and Expense Statement –October 2015 – Reviewed.
Balance Sheet – October 2015 – Reviewed.
The Balance Sheet was reviewed there was one question and it will be looked into.
State/Federal Issues – none
Open Contracts
FY11 Section 5311/CMAQ/STP/P8-Comm. Equipment – Tablets.
FY14 Section 5311/CMAQ/P11-Bus Replacement – bus received.
Wage comparison committee – discussion on tiers .
Social media and website – Facebook and the website is up to date and looks good.
Short discussion took place about GLTA’s stuff the bus with the donations all going to LACADA.

Ridership Report – October 2015 – ridership is up for October
NEXT MEETING – Next meeting will be held on December 9, 2015 at 4:00 pm
