BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
- CALL TO ORDER – Chairman John Kosiara called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm. Chairman John Kosiara led the pledge of allegiance.
ROLL CALL – Present: John Kosiara-Elba Township, Wayne Barber-Oregon Township, Ray Hayes- Deerfield Township, Harry Green-City of Lapeer, Dawn Walker-Lapeer Township, Dan Engelman-Mayfield Township, Glenn Alverson-City of Lapeer. Excused: Jan Peabody-City of Lapeer
Also Present: Brad Fry-Maintenance Director and Traci Pewinski-Finance & Operations Manager
CHANGES/ADDITIONS TO AGENDA – no changes
PUBLIC COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS – no comments.
CORRESPONDENCE – Glen Alverson, City of Lapeer and Wayne Barber, Oregon Township were introduced to the board of Directors.
MAINTENANCE ISSUES – were discussed.
ACTION ITEMS –
Approval of the Agenda – approved.
Meeting Minutes – December 2015 – approved.
Bill List – December 2015 – approved.
Contracts – none.
V/L Monroe – We have received four responses from the RFQ and will be reviewed by committee.
Employee Handbook Reviewed – discussion about timeliness of completion.
Millage Renewal Proposal – On the Ballot for March 8th.
DISCUSSION ITEMS
Income and Expense Statement –December 2015 – reviewed.
Balance Sheet – December 2015 – reviewed.
State/Federal Issues – none.
Open Contracts
FY11 Section 5311/CMAQ/STP/P8-Comm. Equipment – waiting for third party contract to return.
FY15 Section 5311/CMAQ/P14-Bus Replacement – waiting on contract to be awarded.
GLTA employees also pulled together Christmas for LACADA kids. LACADA had 12 children from ages of 6 months to 12 years of age. With the donations from the employees and a few outside donations we were able to give each child at LACADA several items under the Christmas tree.
